MasterChef India Winners List of All Seasons

Based on MasterChef Australia, the Hindi cooking-based reality show MasterChef India recently completed its 7th season. The show has gained a lot of popularity over the years, and it has provided a big platform for all the cooking enthusiasts to show off their cooking skills in front of the entire India on national television.

MasterChef India has released its various seasons till date. Let’s check in with the Master Chef winners and see how their lives have evolved since the show, along with a list of all the judges, hosts, and runners-up from all 7 seasons.

Pankaj Bhadauria was crowned as the first winner of MasterChef India in 2010. Jayanandan Bhaskar was crowned as the runner-up of MasterChef India season 1.

The moment Bhadauria became India’s first MasterChef was a turning point in her life. Prior to this, Sheff worked as a school teacher for 15 years before deciding to quit her position to compete in the show.

Bhadauria won the competition and then opened a cooking school. It was an immediate hit, and now ranks among the finest culinary academies in the world. In addition, major companies provided endorsement deals to the winner.

The judges were chefs Ajay Chopra of the Goa Marriott Resort & Kunal Kapoor of the Leela Kempinski.

Pankaj Bhadouria, Radhika Agarwal, & Jayanandan Bhaskar squared off in the first season’s deciding match.  Pankaj Bhadouria bagged the winner title in the year 2010.

Shipra Khanna : MasterChef India Season 2 Winner

MasterChef India got the next winner of the second season Shipra Khanna and he was born on 17 November 1981. Shipra has had an interesting journey after winning the nationwide popular cooking show. The chef accepted to host “Kitchen Stars Ka Safar” on Star Plus.

She has won several awards for her passion and love of cooking, including the “Best Cook Book” award for “Sinfully Yours” at the 2017 World Gourmand Awards held in China. The chef also received an offer to inaugurate Le Cordon Bleu, a restaurant in Paris.

Shipra hosted a cooking show on television and the only show based on sweets in the country. Himachali of the Year’s journey gained momentum after winning the prestigious cooking show in the world.

Chefs Ajay Chopra of the Goa Marriott Resort & Kunal Kapoor of the Leela Kempinski were the judges of Masterchef India season 2.

Ripu Daman is the winner of the third season of MasterChef India in the year 2013. Ripu Daman started working for many channels after her victory in Master Chef India. He can be seen in Khana Khazana, Living Foods etc. Apart from this, he is also writing his cookbook.

After Ajay Chopra was replaced as one of the judges on Master Chef India for the third season, Sanjeev Kapoor came on board. Three judges, Vikash Khanna, Sanjeev Kapoor,& Kunal Kapoor, were featured in the third season.

Nikita Gandhi : MasterChef India Season 4 Winner

Nikita Gandhi, who won MasterChef India Season 3, became the youngest winner of the show in 2015. She was later selected to create the fist champion menu for MasterChef, the TV Restaurant, which opened its door in Dubai Marina. She was born and raised in Dubai and came to India to compete in the show, she ended up winning.

Nikita Gandhi won the title by defeating Bhakti Arora and Neha Deepak Shah. Neha Deepak Shah was the first runner up, while Bhakti Arora was the second runner up. Vikas Khanna, Sanjeev Kapoor and Ranveer Brar were the judges of season 4.

Bhumika is the youngest contestant to win the title of MasterChef India. She is a passionate cook who loves baking and making desserts. At the age of 20, Kriti was able to start a home-based bakery called Sugarplum Cakery.

Internet sources like cooking sites, YouTube and books taught her how to cook and Bhutika learned everything on her own. The chef won the show by creating an intricate dessert dish including Lychee Berry Mousse, Winter-Spiced Berry Coulis, Aero Chocolate Mousse, Frozen Meringue, Orange Sable Cookie, Grilled Figs, Chocolate Brownie and Chocolate Spiral.

Kirti currently working on start-up Sugar Plum Cakery and she is the founder of the bakery located in Kolkata.

Zorawar Kalra, Kunal Kapoor and Vikas Khanna were the Master Chef India season 5 judges where they declared Ashima Arora as season 5 first runner up and Kirti Bhoutika as the winner in the year 2016.

Abinas Nayak : MasterChef India Season 6 Winner

While working as an engineer, Abinas has always had a keen interest in the culinary arts. He not only impressed the judges’ panel but also the audience with his skill. She’s now a food stylist, and her specialty is creating unique dishes you might not see on restaurant menus. His enthusiasm for food was clearly visible in the show.

Season 6 champion Abinas Nayak is known for his deep love for the kitchen. He was successful in winning the hearts of the judges and the audience of the show. He added that the judge is always the best thing that could have happened to him as he was a novice and not a professional. The candidate was able to perfectly showcase his cooking skills in front of the audience.

Vineet Bhatia, Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna were the Masterchef India season 6 judges. Abinas Nayak won the winner’s title after defeating Oindrila Bala who was the first runner up of season 6.

Nayanjyoti Saikia : MasterChef India Season 7 Winner

Nayanjyoti Saikia from Assam won the MasterChef India winner’s trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. Santa Sarmah from Assam was declared the first runner-up and Suvarna Bagul from Mumbai was declared the second runner-up. Both got a check of Rs 5 lakh respectively.

Mohammed Aashiq  : MasterChef India Season 8 Winner

Mohammed Ashiq, a 24-year-old contestant, wins MasterChef India’s eighth season. He takes home a coat, the trophy, and a cash reward of Rs 25 lakh. Rukhsaar Sayeed and Nambie Jessica, two home chefs, and Suraj Thapa competed in an exciting finale. Nambie and Rukhsaar won second and first runner-up, respectively.
