Having finished at the bottom of the points table last year, Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking to turn tables in the upcoming IPL season. Starting from the auction on Tuesday in Dubai.
Hyderabad have retained as many as 19 players ahead of the auction and released six. With a purse of 34 crore, the 2016 winners have six slots to fill. The franchise also traded Shahbaz Ahmed from the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Among the overseas players the franchise still boasts the likes of Heinrich Klaasen, Marco Jansen, Glenn Phillips, Fazalhaq Farooqi and Aiden Markram, who’d replaced Kane Williamson last season as the captain.
