Nach Baliye is one of the most successful dance reality shows on television. The concept of the show is where you have to perform with your partner in the show. The show has evolved when it comes to dancing style or the tough decisions of the judges. The type of dance performance has changed considerably over time.
In 2005, Star One announced Nach Baliye, which gave a platform to celebrity couples to dance their way to the title. The platform was also open to celebrities who married non-public figures. The show was later pushed to the larger GEC Star Plus.

Nach Baliye Season 1 2005 Winner
- Winner – Suriya Pilgaonkar and Sachin Pilgaonkar
- Runner up – Poonam Narula and Manish Goel
Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar gave a tough fight to another eligible dance pair Poonam Narula and Manish Goyal and won the trophy of Nach Baliye season 1. He is an Indian television actor. Sachin signed on to star as Naina’s father in Hichki (2018 film). Supriya acted as Suhasini Akka in the television show “Mere Sai – Shraddha Aur Saburi” and the show aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The veteran couple is active in the industry, and has made guest appearances on other shows.
Nach Baliye Season 2 2006 Winner
- Winner – Hussain Kuwajerwala and Tina Kuwajerwala
- Runner up – Yash Tonk and Gauri Tonk
After the successful conclusion of the previous season, the show started with a new season in 2006. Malika Arora, Saroj Khan and Kunal Koli are the judges while Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sangita Ghosh were hosting the show. Nach Baliye Season 2 has started airing on Star One channel.

Nach Baliye Season 3 2007 Winner
- Winner – Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh

Audience interest was at an all-time high. With the marketing wheels in overdrive and something unique called the voting meter, the finale of Nach Baliye 3 was watched by TV junkies across the country. Both the finalists waited with bated breath and empty stomachs (Rakhi Abhishek kept a day-long fast) for the results to be announced by Bollywood hunk Salman Khan. The actor could hardly speak as he had a sore throat.
TV couple Sanjeeda Sheikh and husband Aamir Ali emerged as the winners of Nach Baliye Season 3. The duo managed to grab the attention of the audience with their dance moves and left everyone impressed. Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi were one of the strongest contestants. He also gave a tough fight to Sanjeeda and Aamir. But Sanjeeda and Aamir won the show with a few more votes.

- Winner – Shalin Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur
- Runner up – Naman Shaw and Megha Gupta
Nach Baliye 4 of Star Plus produced by Wizcraft ended tonight on 1st February with a face-off between finalists Naman Shaw-Megha Gupta and Shaleen Bhanot-Daljiet Kaur after 13 weeks of non-stop dancing. And when the final moment came, Jodi #11 and favorites Shaleen Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur were declared the worthy winners of Nach Baliye 4.

After gaining more popularity the show started in 2012 with a new skip of 3 years. The judges of the season were Sajid Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Terence Lewis. The hosts of the show were Karan Wahi and Gautam Rode.
After months of hard work, popular television couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have finally won the fifth season of dance celebrity show ‘Nach Baliye 5’. They emerged as the winners after defeating other finalists like Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, Jaisheel and Suhasi Dami and Neelu Vaghela and Arvind Kumar. Jai Bhanushali and Mahi Vij got around 50 lakh votes.
Nach Baliye Season 6 2013 Winner
- Winner – Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi
- Runner up – Gurmeet Chaudhary and Debina Bonnerjee
Ritwik and Asha were awarded a cash prize of Rs 35 lakh, a trip to Australia and a Renault Duster SUV. The choreographers of the duet, Vibhav and Bhawna, received Rs 5 lakh as part of the award.
Nach Baliye Season 7 2015 Winner
- Winner – Himmanshoo Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar
- Runner up – Nandish Sandhu and Rashami Desai
Newly married TV actors Himanshu Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar were declared the winners of the grand finale of celebrity dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 7’.
In 2018, Amrita Judge started the dance show “Super Dancer Maharashtra”. The actress is known for small roles in films, and she signed four films in 2018. She played the role of Sandhya in “Ani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Marathi”.
Nach Baliye Season 8 2017 Winner
- Winner – Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi
- Runner up – Sanam Johar and Abigail Jain
TV world’s most romantic couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have won Nach Baliye 8 by defeating tough rivals Sanaya-Mohit and Sanam-Abigail. The pair walked away with the trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 35 lakh.
Nach Baliye Season 9 2019 Winner
- Winner – Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary
- Runner up – Rohit Reddy and Anita Hassanandani
On Sunday, November 3, celebrity couple Yuvika Choudhary and Prince Narula beat 13 other teams to win the trophy for dance reality show Nach Baliye 9. Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy were the first runners-up, followed by Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli. Prince has now become the only person on Indian television to win all reality shows which include Roadies X2, Splitsvilla 8 and Bigg Boss 9.
Nach Baliye Season 10 2021 Winner
As per reports, the popular celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye will soon be back with its tenth season in the month of June. Newly married couple Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal have been approached for the show.
Nach Baliye is a popular celebrity dance reality show, the show is not organized in 2020 due to the pandemic. But after the gap, the show is going to start in June 2021.
