Bigg Boss is one of the most watched reality shows in India. It started in 2006 and has completed 17 seasons till now. After the show became popular, from 2013 the franchise of the show started launching it in other languages as well, now there are 7 different versions in 7 different languages in India.
When this television game show first started in 2006, it was hosted by Arshad Warsi, Season 2 was hosted by Shilpa Shetty, and Season 3 was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The spin-off season of Bigg Boss was hosted by Farah Khan in 2015. Salman Khan is going to be the longest serving host of the show since season 4.

Bigg Boss Season 1 Winner – Rahul Roy
The first season of Bigg Boss aired from 3 November 2006 to 26 January 2007 and was hosted by Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi. Famous Bollywood actor Rahul Roy won the first season and Carol Gracias was crowned the runner-up. Model-turned-actor Rahul Roy is known for his work in Hindi Indian cinema and television and is currently a film producer with his own production house.
Bigg Boss Season 2 Winner – Ashutosh Kaushik
Ashutosh Kaushik made it to the Big Boss winner list in 2008. The show was new and was presented and hosted by Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty. He was the winner of MTV Roadies 5 in 2007 and after winning Bigg Boss, he started appearing in TV shows. Comedy Circus and ‘Dil Jeet Jayegi Desi Girl’ are some of the shows he was a part of.
However, winning Bigg Boss could not help him climb the ladder of success. He was told that he started working to support his family and could not return to the entertainment industry.
Bigg Boss Season 3 Winner – Vindu Dara Singh
Vindu Dara Singh, son of iconic wrestler-actor Dara Singh, won a cash prize of Rs 1 crore in Amitabh Bachchan’s Bigg Boss season 3 in 2009. Vindu has earlier played the character of Hanuman in the TV show Jai Veer Hanuman. He is often seen in emerging Instagram reels with actor friends Mukesh Rishi and Rajan Modi.
Bigg Boss Season 4 Winner – Shweta Tiwari
Shweta was already a famous TV actress when she entered the Bigg Boss house. ‘Prerna’ from Kasautii Zindagii Kay finally won the season after having numerous quarrels with Dolly Bindra and Pakistani actress Veena Malik.
Bigg Boss Season 5 Winner – Juhi Parmar
Juhi Parmar, best known for playing the lead role in Kumkum – Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan, was declared the winner of Bigg Boss 5 in 2012. She had competed against others including Pooja Bedi, Sunny Leone and Shakti Kapoor. He won an amount of Rs 1 crore.
Bigg Boss Season 6 Winner – Urvashi Dholakia
Dholakia began her acting career at the age of six in a TV commercial for Lux soap alongside actress Revathi. Then came her first TV series ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ as Shilpa. Later she appeared at the speed of time. She also appeared in the shows Ghar Ek Mandir, Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, Kasauti Zindagi Ki and Kahiin To Hoga. Dholakia gained popularity by playing the character of Komolika Basu in Kasauti Zindagi Ki. In 2012, she participated in Colors TV’s Bigg Boss 6 and on 12 January 2013, she emerged as the winner of the season.
Bigg Boss Season 7 Winner – Gauhar Khan
Bollywood model and actress Gauahar Khan won Bigg Boss season 7. Her caring nature and her sense of humor were loved by the audience, which made him the winner of the house. She won a cash prize of Rs. 1 crore in Bigg Boss Season 7.
Bigg Boss Season 8 Winner – Gautam Gulati
It didn’t take long for him to become the favorite of the season at home and among the fans. He became even more popular when he won the eighth season of the show Bigg Boss. Along with this, Gautam Gulati’s career also progressed. Today he is a part of many projects.
Bigg Boss Season 9 Winner – Prince Narula
Prince Narula is the winner of Bigg Boss Season 9. This season was also hosted by Bollywood Bhai Salman Khan. The show started on 11 October 2015 and ended on 23 January 2016. The winning prize of the season was Rs 50 lakh.
Prince Narula is an Indian model and television personality. He started his career by participating in PTC Mr. Punjab 2014, where he was the second runner-up. Continuing his career in youth, he participated in the twelfth edition of MTV Roadies stunt show in January 2015 and won the series. He is also the winner of Splitsvilla.
Bigg Boss Season 10 Winner – Manveer Gurjar
Manveer is actually a farmer and dairy farmer by profession. The first non-celebrity to win Bigg Boss in Celebrity Bigg Boss Winners. After winning the season in 2017 he moved back to Noida and is an active social worker.
Bigg Boss Season 11 Winner – Shilpa Shinde
The 11th season of the reality TV show Bigg Boss hosted by Salman Khan started on 1 October 2017 and ended on 14 January 2018. This season featured celebrity contestants as well as some common public contestants. Among all, Shilpa Shinde who is a beautiful Indian TV actress won the show with trophy and cash prize of Rs. 50 lakhs.
Bigg Boss Season 12 Winner – Dipika Kakar
Dipika Kakar was born in Pune, India. She is popularly known as Simar in the TV show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. In 2015, she separated from her first husband Raunaq Samson and remarried to TV actor and co-star of her former show, Shoaib Ibrahim in February 2018. After marriage, she changed her name to Faiza and converted to Islam.
She recently appeared in a cameo role in the TV show Sasural Simar Ka 2. Currently, she has a YouTube channel named “Deepika Ki Duniya” where she gives regular updates to her fans.
Bigg Boss Season 13 Winner – Siddarth Shukla
Siddharth Shukla was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss season 13. Siddharth was a popular television and film actor, who in December 2005 became the first Indian and Asian to win the title of Best Model of the World. He is also the winner of another famous reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Shukla was rated as the Most Popular Contestant and Most Favorite Contestant of Bigg Boss 13 in surveys conducted by Hindustan Times, India TV News and The Times of India. He has entered Bigg Boss 14 as one of the “Toofani” seniors for the first two weeks.
Bigg Boss Season 14 Winner – Rubina Dilaik
Rubina declared the winner of Bigg Boss 2021; Rahul Vaidya was the first runner-up, followed by Nikki Tamboli. Rahul has also been the third runner-up of Indian Idol Season 1. For Bigg Boss season 14, the prize money of the winner was ₹ 36 Lakh, and she took home the trophy after 140 days. In the show, Rakhi Sawant got evicted from the house with Rs 14 lakh. Bigg Boss Season 15 Winner – Tejasswi Prakash

Bigg Boss Season 16 Winner – MC Stan
Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan has come a long way from missing home and feeling wrong at home to revealing his 2.0 side and hunger. They defeated Shiv Thackeray and Priyanka in the final to win the winner’s trophy. In the beginning there came a time when he did not feel like staying at home. Along with the trophy, he also got prize money and a new car.
Bigg Boss Season 17 Winner – Munawar Faruqui
Bigg Boss Season 17 concluded on January 28, 2024. Arun Massettey, Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande, and Abhishek Kumar were the top five contestants. But among all the contestants, Munawar Faruqui became the winner of Bigg Boss 17, and Abhishek Kumar became the first runner-up. Munawar took home Rs. 50 lakh along with a car and a Bigg Boss 17 winning trophy.
Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 Winner – Elvish Yadav
Bigg Boss OTT 2 hosted by Salman Khan came to an end with a special finale episode 14th August 2023. After a tough competition, the top five contestants were Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, Babika Dhurve, Manisha Rani and Pooja Bhatt. Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of this season. At midnight, Salman Khan announced the live victory. When Elvish’s name was announced as the winner, he fell silent. Apart from a beautiful trophy, he won Rs. 25 lakhs. Abhishek Malhan became the first runner up.
