Scoop marks the first collaboration between Netflix and Hansal Mehta, the latter director of the acclaimed series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story. The series is based on the book “Behind the Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison” by Jigna Vora. Karishma Tanna plays the role of a journalist who was falsely accused of murdering a fellow journalist.

A new season of Delhi Crime has been announced by Netflix India. Netflix released a video revealing that several shows including Delhi Crime: Season 3 will return for a third season.
