India’s Best Dancer is one of the popular dance television reality shows at the moment. The dance television reality show showcases one of the talented dancers from across the country. Fans are extremely excited to see who will emerge as the winner of the dance television reality show.
The second season of this popular TV show which is also known as ‘India’s Best Dancer: The Next Avatar of BEST’ concluded on 9th January 2022, and the show saw many breathtaking dance performances. Now the show is all set for season 3 in 2023.
Noted comedian and TV host Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa hosted the show, which saw huge popularity with judges including Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis, Malaika Arora and Nora Fatehi among others.
India’s Best Dancer started in February 2020, pre-wedding period in India, but ended in November 2020, 2021 or Season 2 started after COVID-19, and its popularity is the reason it returned for its second season so quickly.
India’s Best Dancer Season 3 Winner: Samarpan Lama
Samarpan Lama, hailing from Pune, earned the title of the ‘King of Contemporary’ in ‘India’s Best Dancer 3’. His journey has been nothing short of a roller-coaster ride, with moments when his performances weren’t up to par.
Samarpan Lama, who earlier won hearts with his humble attitude and hard work in ‘India’s Best Dancer 3’, has now emerged as the winner of the reality television show. Highlights of her visit included the touching gesture of Remo D’Souza, who gifted her a pair of shoes as a token of respect for her dancing talent. Terence Lewis, another renowned choreographer, admired Dedication’s work and saw through him a promising future in contemporary dance.
India’s Best Dancer Season 2 Winner: Saumya Kamble
Saumya Kamble from Pune was declared the winner of India’s Best Dancer Season 2. She defeated Gaurav Sarwan and Roja Rana to win the trophy, a car and a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh. A check of Rs 5 lakh was handed over to his choreographer Vartika Jha.
Out of the top five finalists, Gaurav Sarwan from Jaipur was declared the first runner-up; Roja Rana of Odisha was declared the second runner-up; Raktim Thakuria of Assam was third and Jamrudh of Kerala was fourth runner up. All were given a check of Rs 1 lakh each. Additionally, Sony Entertainment Television also presented a check of Rs one lakh to the runners-up respectively.
India’s Best Dancer Season 1 Winner: Ajay Singh
After months of showcasing their tremendous dancing skills and versatility, the dance-based reality show India’s Best Dancer Season 1 has finally got its winner. This is Ajay Singh, popularly known as Tiger Pop. The show ran for almost nine months, in which contestants from various backgrounds participated and left the audience speechless with their unique style of dance and their expressions.
The top five finalists – Ajay Singh aka Tiger Pop, Mukul Gain, Subhrnil Paul, Paramdeep Singh and Shweta Warrier – competed to win the trophy. Judges Malaika Arora, Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur declared Tiger Pop as the winner. Along with the Shining Award, he won a cash price of Rs 15 lakh and a luxurious Maruti car.
