Big Brother Canada is the Canadian version of the hit reality competition show. Based on the Dutch series of the same name, Big Brother Canada is hosted by Arissa Cox. The show follows contestants called HouseGuests as they compete for a $100,000 cash prize and additional prizes from the show’s sponsors. The game features the weekly eviction of contestants by their fellow HouseGuests, along with the Head of Household and Veto competitions.

The tenth season of Big Brother Canada has come to an end, and Toronto native Kevin Jacobs has been crowned as its champion. Kevin, a 28-year-old sales engineer, entered the season promising to play a cutthroat, villainous character. He relished the prospect of manipulating his fellow HouseGuests and lying to win the game. He even wears a fake wedding ring and tells his competitors that he is married, lying to his long-term girlfriend as his wife.
BBCAN Season 9 Winner: Tychon Carter-Newman
The ninth season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother premiered on Global TV with a two-night premiere on March 3–5, 2020. After 69 days, the season ended on May 6, 2021, when Tychon Carter-Newman defeated Brayden White. in a 6–1 vote to become the first black HouseGuest to win a season of Big Brother Canada.
BBCAN Season 8 Winner: Discontinue
Initially advertised as the longest and most “supersized” season of Big Brother Canada, it was themed around superheroes and villains before turning into the most unique season of the franchise. This season featured only one eviction, following the departure of Nico Vera during the first week, and the first of the franchise’s two evictions from the show.
The show was completely canceled due to the 2019–2020 COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in the shortest season in BBCAN history.

The seventh season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother premiered on Global on March 6, 2019, and ended after 69 days on May 9, 2019, when Dan Rupert was declared the winner and Anthony Douglas the runner-up.
BBCAN Season 6 Winner: Paras Atashnak
Big Brother Canada (BBCAN) crowned Paras Atashnak as the winner of the season 6 finale on Global. Atshanak, a 23-year-old student from Vancouver, British Columbia, defeated 16 houseguests to win the title of champion. The competition marked a first for fellow finalist, 25-year-old wine ambassador Caila Grant, in an all-female final two on BBC One.

The fifth season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother premiered on Global TV on March 15, 2017, and was produced by Endemol USA and Insight Productions. This season of the series saw 8 new HouseGuests competing against 8 HouseGuests from the previous edition who are deemed to be in need of a second chance.
After 69 days, returning house guest and poker player Kevin Martin was declared the winner, with new guest and real estate broker Karen Singbill as the runner-up.

Nick and Phil Paquette have been crowned the winners of Season 4 of Big Brother Canada. The outspoken Ottawa brothers received seven out of nine jury votes and took home the title and the $100,000 grand prize on the reality competition series.
BBCAN Season 3 Winner: Sarah Hanlon
The third season of Big Brother Canada began airing on March 23, 2015. It featured sixteen HouseGuests, one more than the previous two seasons. Running for a total of ten episodes, the season ended on 27 May when Sarah Hanlon was named the winner and Godfrey Mangawiza emerged as the runner-up.

Jon Pardy, a 23-year-old student from Newfoundland and Labrador, walked out of the Big Brother Canada house on Thursday night $100,000 richer. Pardy won the second season of the popular reality show, taking home cash as well as $25,000 from The Brick and a $10,000 trip courtesy of Twisto.
BBCAN Season 1 Winner: Jillian McLaughlin
The first season of Big Brother Canada began airing on 27 February 2013, with 15 HouseGuests competing to win the show’s grand prize. Arissa Cox served as the show’s host during its ten-week run, which concluded on May 2, 2013 when Jillian McLaughlin was crowned the winner and Gary Levy emerged as the runner-up.
