Bigg Boss Malayalam is an Indian TV series that follows the format of another very prominent and popular Indian TV series, Bigg Boss Hindi.
Bigg Boss Malayalam invites models, actors, singers, directors, internet celebrities, businessmen and other famous people as its contestants. The contestants, called housemates, are confined within the walls of a house specially built for the purpose of the show for a total of 100 days, which roughly equates to 15 weeks. During this time period, they have no contact with the outside world and cannot step out of the house on their own accord unless there is some sort of personal emergency.

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 Winner: Akhil Marar
The much awaited result is here! Director Akhil Marar has won the trophy of Bigg Boss Malayalam 5. The contestant won the show by defeating inmate Reneesha Rahiman with a high margin. In the grand finale, the winner received the trophy from superstar host Mohanlal and eminent TV personality K Madhavan. They also took away the prize money of Rs 50 lakh and a new car.
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 Winner: Dilsha Prasannan
Season four of Bigg Boss Malayalam began on March 27 and will end on July 3, 2022. Season 4 had a total of 20 contestants. Actor and dancer Dilsha Prasnan emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4, and she was also the first female winner of Bigg Boss Malayalam. The runner-up for the season was Blissley.
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 Winner: Manikuttan
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 enthralled the audience with its dynamic content. With a diverse group of 18 contestants, the season witnessed intense competition, eventually with actor Manikuttan being declared the winner, while Sai Vishnu secured the runner-up position.
Hailing from the Indian film industry, Manikuttan started his acting journey in 2005 in Malayalam cinema. With an impressive filmography including his latest film “Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea” releasing on December 2, 2021, Manikuttan has established himself as a leading man in the industry.
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 Winner: No One
Bigg Boss Malayalam season two aired from January 5, 2020 to March 20, 2020. Season 2 featured 17 constants along with 5 wild card entries. At the time of Season 2, the COVID-19 pandemic had just begun, so before the finale, the show was shut down.
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1 Winner: Sabumon Abdusamad
Season 1 of Bigg Boss Malayalam was aired in 2018 on Asianet. This continued from 24 June to 30 September. This season had 99 episodes and 18 contestants. This went on for 98 days. The series had a 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm time slot on Wednesdays, while a 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm time slot on weekends.
It was shot in a plush house in Lonavla, Mumbai and was hosted by noted actor Mohan Lal. This season is also available on VOD and OTT platform Hotstar. Additional footage that has not been aired on the original series of this season has been aired on Asianet Plus as Bigg Boss Plus.
