Bigg Boss is a popular reality TV show that has managed to secure a large audience among the Indian population. The original Bigg Boss was made in Hindi for a majority Hindi-speaking audience. After gaining incredible popularity in the reality TV world, Bigg Boss has turned to other channels to meet the huge demand for its remake in other regional languages. Big Boss is now remade in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and many other regional languages.
Bigg Boss Tamil was first aired in 2017 on 25 June on Star Vijay channel. Bigg Boss Tamil has now completed three seasons and is currently hosting the fourth season. Kamal Haasan is the host of Bigg Boss Tamil. The house where all the reality TV shows were hosted was located in Chennai’s EVP Theme Park. The show has aired over 300 episodes in total including all seasons, and is still going strong.

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6 Winner – Mohammed Azeem (2023)
Season 6 began on 9 October 2022 and ended on 22 January 2023 declaring Mohammad Azeem as its winner. Mohammed Azeem, better known by his stage name Azeem, is a popular Tamil television actor in India. In 2012’s Maya, with Vaani Bhojan, she made her first television appearance. In the years that followed, he also made guest appearances in several television serials.
Vikraman Radhakrishnan was declared as the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6. Like all the seasons, the prize money for season 6 was also INR 50 Lakhs.
Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 Winner – Raju Jeyamohan (2022)
Raju Jayamohan was born on 2 July 1991 in Tirunelveli. Before entering Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5, he was a popular actor in Tamil film and television industry. In 2015, Raju married R.J. Married to Vivekanandan’s Thunai Mudhalvar made his film debut, it was a small role. It was Shiva Aravind’s directorial debut Natapuna Ennanu Theriyuma (2019) where he got respectable screen space.
Apart from films, Raju has worked in TV serials like Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, Saravanan Meenachi Season 2, Undai Azhagar and others, Priyanka Deshpande is the second runner-up of this season.
Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4 Winner – Aari Arujunan (2021)
Ari Arjunan, better known by his stage name Aari, was crowned the winner of Tamil Bigg Boss Season 4 on Sunday. According to the latest figures, Aari has got 16.5 billion votes. As one of the most nominated contestants in the BB house, he was renowned for his honesty and straight behaviour, which earned him the nickname “The Straight Shooter”. Silambattam is a martial art he specializes in and he set a world record for growing saplings with a group of 3000 students.
Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 Winner – Mugen Rao (2019)
The show premiered on June 23, 2019, following the conclusion of its second season, and will conclude on October 6, 2019. The host of this season was Kamal Haasan. Mugen Rao was declared the winner of Bigg Boss season 3 of the Tamil version. He got Rs 50 lakh as prize money.
Rao, better known by his stage names Mugen Rao and MGR, is a Malaysian artist, singer and film producer. Mugen was brought up there since birth. He has a lot of name in show business. He is not only known for his singing but also for his excellent acting.
Season 3 trophy was given to Mugen Rao. Sandy Master, a Choreographer from Chennai, finished second in Third seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil.
Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 Winner – Riythvika (2018)
Rithvika is the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil season 2, she won the trophy as well as one million cash prize. Aishwarya Dutta is the runner-up, Vijayalakshmi Feroze is the third runner-up and Janani Iyer is the fourth runner-up.
Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 Winner – Arav Nafeez (2017)
Nafeez Kizar, better known as Aarav, is an Indian actor and model, who predominantly works in Tamil film industry. The Chennai-born actor created history by winning the first season of the popular Tamil TV show Bigg Boss Tamil. Before appearing as a contestant in Bigg Boss, he was working as a model. He also worked as an engineer at Apollo Tires, an Indian multinational tire manufacturer.
Aarav made his acting debut in the Tamil film industry in 2016 with Vijay Anthony’s Saithan. He won a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakhs. The runner-up of the first season was Snehan. Aarav has continued his career as an actor.
